The terrifying Joker ‘virus’ targeted at Android devices, which was last reported to be active in July this year, has also appeared on the Google Play Store. The malware is known to hide in Android apps and has now been discovered in 14 apps. The discovery of the virus was revealed by Kaspersky Labs Android malware analyst Tatyana Shishkova on Twitter.
Mobile security and threat analyst has shared the names of Android apps that contain the most dangerous ‘Joker’ virus currently in the Google Play store. A virus that continues to appear in the Android app store, the Joker virus steals user data.

Awesome Joker Virus has been detected in the next 14 apps and Android users are advised to check if they have any of these installed and remove them immediately.

Discovered for the first time in 2017, Google has long endured a reduction in its appearance on Android apps. The company also published a blog post in 2019 talking about its long battle with the Joker virus.
