Arcane, a popular cartoon series of a popular online battlefield game, will return for another season on Netflix. The announcement comes weeks after the show premiered on the show’s first season on November 6, reports Variety.
“We are very excited about the positive response to the first season of ‘Arcane’ and are working hard with Riot Witches and (French photography studio) Fortiche to deliver our second installment,” series co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee said. .
Arcane is set in the universe and serves as a precursor to the League of Legends, which was first published by the Riot Games in 2009.
Actors Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell and Katie Leung have all confirmed that they will once again play the voice of Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn Kiramman in the animated series based on “League of Legends”.
Details are still being collected about the second season of the series and no release date has been announced.
Linke, along with Marc Merrill, Brandon Beck, Jane Chung and Thomas Vu will be included as senior architects for the second season of Arcane.
