The official government chatbot MyGov Corona Helpdesk on the popular WhatsApp messaging platform has gone to 30 million users in India since its launch last year. One of the biggest API-assisted calls on WhatsApp has been introduced to address the spread of non-global data related to the Covid-19 epidemic. Powered by Haptik’s Conversational AI solutions, the chatbot is available in Hindi and English.
At the first commemoration of the MyGov Corona Helpdesk, there was a lively session on March 23. It was revealed that the chat had processed more than 45 million WhatsApp conversations in the country since its launch including more than 67 million messages sent.
Those looking for answers to their questions can simply save the WhatsApp number +91 9013151515 on their devices and start a conversation by sending ‘Hi’ messages. The chatbot then selects from a list of frequently asked questions or type in its query. Feedback is provided in the form of a video, infographic, or text.

The Covid-19 vaccination campaign in India is currently underway. Until March 31, adults (over 60) and people aged 45 or over with comorbidities are vaccinated. From April 1, citizens over the age of 45 without comorbidities will also be able to get vaccinated.
