Twitter to add COVID-19 vaccination facts box users’ times

Microblogging and social media service Twitter has come up with a new feature to add a true box to the timeline of users to help promote the ongoing COVID-19 vaccine effort.

The new feature will provide people around the world with the latest vaccine information in their country, reports The Verge.

The feature will appear as a large undeniable box on top of Twitter users’ feeds for iOS and Android apps, making users “sure you have the most up-to-date information on coronavirus vaccines (COVID-19).”

Verge reported that touching this link will take the user to the new Twitter event page for information about vaccines, which are featured in a series of tweets collected from organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at least -US.

The guideline chart will be divided into several sections, with details on the effectiveness of the vaccine, possible side effects, advice for pregnant women, and more.

It is the latest attempt by a major technology company to help promote COVID-19 drugs and to provide useful information to users.

In addition to Twitter, Facebook has recently included state-of-the-art vaccine details in its American Feed Feed, while YouTube is running a PSA advertising campaign to encourage people to get shots.
