Sony will soon be launching its popular PlayStation game titles on smartphones, which will make studio games more accessible to more viewers. The company intentionally or unintentionally intends to expand its mobile space.
The information was based on a company-sponsored work list seen by Niko Partners chief analyst Daniel Ahmad. The listing was replaced by ‘Mobile Head’. The company also provided an explanation of the role and where they left out the solid plans for coming out of the studio.
The job description said, “Do you want to take the lead in the development and development of mobile games and help build the future of world-class studios? As Head of Mobile, you will own and develop a mobile gaming strategy at PlayStation Studios and help build a foundation for future growth opportunities. You will lead all aspects of the expansion of our game development from consoles and PCs to mobile phones and live services by focusing on successfully transforming the most popular PlayStation franchises. He will be responsible for building and growing a team of traveling leaders and will serve as the Head of this new business unit at PlayStation Studios. ”
The list makes it clear that the Sony PlayStation Studio is looking for someone who can help the product rise to the mobile gaming industry that has been growing for the past few years. Games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile have set good examples of current console games.
Sony is expected to bring some popular game titles that may have been special to the PlayStation console so far. The company is facing serious problems with the production of its latest PlayStation 5, which has also caused a decline in sales of its exclusive PS5 games in India. According to IGN India, Sony has managed to sell only 2,520 units imported into the two-game Sackboy and Demon Souls games.
