As the name implies, the guide provides the telephone numbers and addresses of selected hospitals from many districts across the country, which can be found in official government information. Truecaller warns that it does not guarantee the availability of hospital beds.

The discovery of this new feature comes as people use social media to find information about hospitals, beds, and other necessities.
Earlier this week, Twitter unveiled the Covid-19 vaccination facts box on the user’s timeline. The box is intended to encourage more people to get vaccinated.
