“I am happy to tell you that I am taking on a new role as Chief Business Officer of Facebook. This is a new position to look at Facebook’s marketing business and global partnerships. We are fortunate to lead a business that is making economic and social change for our global partners, helping them build their brand, build their community, and grow their business with the new solutions we offer in all of our forums, ”Levine said.
“I believe in Facebook even more than I did the first time I walked in the door. I am proud of how, over the past year, we have contributed to economic aid efforts, connecting our partners – from the largest businesses they want to create – to their communities at a time when they are most needed. With new solutions such as online stores and paid events, we have helped entrepreneurs and small businesses work online, and in many cases to remain honest. I am especially proud to be one of the new technology companies that continues to build new experiences that support our partners and their long-term growth, ”he added.
