Microsoft Corp said on Monday it began global redevelopment so that its services could recover after the update caused problems reaching thousands of users, including those in the messaging app groups.
The company expects the crisis to subside within 60 minutes, Twitter said.
More than 26,000 people reported problems with the Teams, while more than 3,000 users reported problems through Office 365, the Downdetector.com tracking website was shown.
These problems could affect users around the world and also affect other services, such as the Exchange Online email hosting platform, the company said.
